I was reading a good friends blog, katie beth in her trip to China. she was just writing and contemplating and a paragraph caught my attention. it certainly struck a chord with me. i feel that it's so beautifully true....about being a christian.

i feel that in a way, God stops a human being from being overly prideful, but at the same time, he also saves a person from excessive self loathing and self condemnation. i dare say that as a human, maintaining this balance is very difficult, but "with man this is impossible, but with God everything is possible."
